The importance of a healthy Nutritional lifestyle

"There is no right or wrong lifestyle or diet;
there are only right or wrong choices to be made based on our individual genetic codes". Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo

Is your food enhancing or polluting your health?

Staying healthy with Nutrition
Many people don't know what it's like to feel at their best anymore, because they are run down physically and mentally from the consumption of products sold by food companies in supermarkets. Food nutritional quality has reached such a poor standard, so that the food industry can make a bigger profit for itself. This consequently opens up to more digestive diseases, chronic constipation and so on.

Now is the time to start taking care of your body more than ever before so that your body can take care of you.

More people start noticing health benefits from completing a colon cleansing combined with nutritional therapy. Getting rid of the body's harmful toxins and strengthening immunity should allow the whole body, but most of all the colon, to stay healthy and active.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Candida and yeast overgrowth, cravings, bloating, skin troubles, fatigue, feeling depressed and so on...
All sounds very familiar as we hear it so often; it all became part of our lifestyle. I like to call it an adaptation stage. This is what one might be used to throughout life. Refined and processed foods are detrimental to our health but yet, is being sold in our Supermarkets. We as a society, are aware of their potential dangers and yet, still consume them which clearly are mostly toxic to our body, well-being and become health impairment. Researches are somehow mostly inconclusive, as to suggest the public that there is not enough evidence, to show that certain additives and chemicals put in the food chain, is considered as a risk factor for disease. But do I really want to wait until it is proven so, or do I prefer educating myself and keep away from potential harmful chemicals leading to illnesses?

I was born near a small town in the West of France on the border of the Atlantic Ocean. My Dad grown his own fruits and vegetables and my Mum loved experimenting with new recipes for our enjoyment! Came the day when I flew the nest, forgetting about putting the essential and beneficial lifestyle habits into my everyday life, and embarked on a junk food consumption routine. None of which favoured my health at the time but instead, sent me to a dark place with a body crying our for help, after accumulative years of excesses. These were the days when combined bad lifestyle habits eventually got too much for my own good. Looking back now, I can see how simple it was to get into the fast pace of life causing a huge amount of stress to my body, leading me to use food in a completely non helpful but rather destructive way!

Just remember that stress can be as poisonous and toxic as the everyday ingestion of processed food. It depletes us so much of the vital minerals and vitamins that our bowel requires to detoxify properly. It also takes a lot of work from our cells to go through the detoxification process. Our modern society gives us a much faster pace of life than our body is able to cope with. We work longer hours with less time to prepare healthy meals, therefore often rely on take away food or eat in our work environment. It puts pressure on our digestive system, not allowing it to function at its optimal.

Stress indeed has become one of the major factors to our affected colon, as well as processed food and to top it all up, too much animal fats and refined sugar. It is so important to be aware of your digestive system during a period of stress. Stress can affect many systems of the body, and if stress becomes long term or chronic, then damage may occur. This damage can affect your health and well-being which in turn can make life harder in the areas of relationships, work and play. With ever increasing levels of stress in the world, it is essential for you to take responsibility for your own health.

Being a holistic and integrative therapist, I enjoy supporting my clients through their journey towards their lifestyle changes, and along the way, reminding them the importance of relaxation. Taking the time out in order to give your body a chance to reset itself.
I witnessed on how powerful combining disciplines such as Aromaflexology, colonic irrigation and enemas can be in supporting a healthier living.
All these methods contribute in helping the colon to relax and clear out toxins on both emotional and physical levels.

My pursuit to a holistic lifestyle, grew ever since I realised how much I needed to keep close to nature after all. A clean whole food intake got my body back to where it could finally put its detoxifying, repairing and healing mechanisms back on! A wonderful feeling that I wish everyone could get the taste of.
